01

Comprehensive tech integrations

To create a seamless digital experience for Edelman Fossil Park, we developed both a website CMS and an on-site kiosk system that required extensive integration with various third-party vendors. These integrations included customer data management systems, ticket purchasing platforms, and RFID registration services. By working with half a dozen vendors, we ensured that all components worked together smoothly, providing visitors with a unified, efficient experience from online interactions to on-site activities.

This end-to-end experience design with a technology underpinning was critical to support the museum’s operational needs and enhance the visitor experience through robust digital tools.

02

Digital brand development

We refreshed the color palette to be more vibrant on modern displays, and accessible, enhancing contrast to ensure readability for all users. The brand’s original stylized typeface was maintained for headers, while a more elegant and accessible typeface was introduced for body text. These subtle yet effective changes gave the site a fresher look while maintaining the brand’s integrity.

03

Immersive visitor experience

The website’s visual motif, “windows into the past,” was designed to make the museum feel alive, allowing guests to interact with parts of the prehistoric world. We broke away from standard rectangular image containers, and featured dinosaurs and plants extending beyond their frames to create a more dynamic and engaging visual experience. AI-augmented imagery was crucial in the design phase, serving as a creative way to illustrate the prehistoric world.
