To support the development of personalized avatars across a variety of applications, we built DNA3, a generative AI-based avatar creation system that supports 2D and 3D form factors. We trained custom image models to generate a wide range of avatar assets, ensuring that each asset adhered to the specific visual and design standards defined at the avatar system level. Control over composition and design
To achieve precise control over avatar and asset creation, DNA3 utilizes Posenet, a tool for pose estimation and manipulation. This allows for detailed adjustments to character poses and movements, creating dynamic and visually appropriate results for various use cases.
By building control mechanisms for design systems, we ensured all generated avatars and assets remain consistent with brand and creative guidelines, while still providing room for creative expression and customizations as needed.

Custom accessory integration
DNA3 includes generative image blending capabilities that allow for seamless integration of custom accessories into avatars. This feature provides the ability to add unique elements like clothing, gear, props, and more, offering extensive personalization options.
By using generative image blending, the system can dynamically combine custom assets with generated avatars, enabling users to create personalized characters that fit their specific requirements and preferences.
